Italian Citizenship Assistance
At Citizen d’Italia, we help you realize your dream that one day you will become a dual Italian citizen. How? By doing the heavy lifting and managing the entire process from start to finish. We do it all.
Our approach is simple.
First, we begin by having a conversation with you. We want to learn about your family and listen to your story. When did your family arrive? Where did they settle? With whom did they travel? How did they get here? This discussion optimizes our research efforts.
Then we do the hard stuff.
Certain U.S. States require court orders to obtain your ancestors’ documents, and we petition the court for you. Some need additional documentation to get a record, and we provide that documentation. Certain U.S. States will never let a third party obtain a vital record. We handle that as well.
We are a unique company that prides ourselves in serving the Bay Area’s Italian American community. We are local, yet work with people all over the globe, and approachable, preferring to meet our new clients in person whenever possible. We want to serve you, your family and friends, and bring them back home – to Italy.
Italian Citizenship Benefits
- Access to the European Union: Italian citizenship grants you access to live, work, and travel freely within the European Union (EU) member states. This can be especially advantageous if you plan to work or study in other EU countries.
- Cultural Heritage: For individuals of Italian descent, dual citizenship allows you to reconnect with your cultural heritage. It enables you to more easily explore your Italian roots, visit family members, and immerse yourself in Italian culture.
- Ease of Travel: As an Italian citizen, you can travel to many countries without the need for a visa or with simplified visa requirements. This can save you time and money when planning international trips.
- Property Ownership: Italian citizens may have fewer restrictions on property ownership, making it easier to invest in real estate in Italy. You may also have access to certain government incentives for property buyers.
- Healthcare and Education: In Italy, citizens have access to public healthcare and education systems. If you plan to live or study in Italy, this can be a significant advantage.
- Voting Rights: Dual citizens often have the right to vote in both Italy and their home country’s elections. This allows you to have a say in the political decisions of both nations.
- Job Opportunities: In some cases, having Italian citizenship can make it easier to find employment in Italy or within Italian companies abroad.
- Business Opportunities: Italian citizenship can simplify the process of starting or conducting business in Italy or other EU countries. It may also grant you access to certain EU business grants and programs.
